Liberty UMC is part of the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Our bishop is the Reverend Charlene Kammerer, Resident Bishop of the Richmond Area.
We participate in The Walk to Emmaus, a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. We also actively participate in the Epiphany Prison Ministry outreach to incarcerated youth.
We are a partner with Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, working together to help others understand God’s call for their lives.
We support the development of the covenant of Christian marriage and encourage couples to develop skills to improve communication and expression of love.
The Henry Fork Service Center is a multi-purpose mission outreach of the Danville District of the United Methodist Church.
